SPP focuses on preventing substance use by prioritizing mental health. Our program provides teens with the tools to recognize and manage stress, build resilience, and seek support. Through interactive workshops and mentorship, we empower young people to make informed choices and promote their overall well-being.

Community Members Feedback

“It’s a space of trust, love and understanding. It’s a space where you have the trust with those around you to understand and appreciate the sorrow behind your smile.. To make sense of the love behind your anger. And last but least, the meaning behind your silence. Where you can lean on each other and give each other strength you all mightily need. ”

— Brother Hamza

“I love how all of the sessions are based off of our input as participants. MAAC takes our needs and requests seriously and that's something I appreciate. I also think that this peace circle has been super important in filling a void that was greatly needed during the pandemic. I want to ask that regardless of who shows up or who participates in the sessions, to continue doing them. I also want to encourage MAAC to continue doing more programs for the community insha allah! Great job guys!.”
