Muslimah Against Abuse Center(MAAC) is a non-profit organization that strives to empower and educate women of color to overcome their past trauma and live successful lives. Muslimah’s against abuse center envisions a world, where every woman attains the right to live a safe fulfilling life free of violence and oppression. Like any other community, abuse exists in the Muslim community. Close to 50% of American Muslims have reported facing some form of abuse in their lifetime.

MAAC is a newly founded organization, building on years of volunteer-based community work that has and continues to plan on supporting women from marginalized communities that otherwise had no place to seek the resources and support they require. Ramadan is the month of giving and supporting individuals in need. This Ramadan our goal is to raise $50,000. The proceeds will go to our Teen Awareness Sessions, Sisters Support Groups, Muslimah’s Peace Circles, and Personal consultations services. Donate here!
